Peanut Butter 4.0: The Evolution of Healthy Peanut Butter
You love peanut butter. We all do. But have you ever stopped and thought about how much its changed over the years? You might think, not much! peanut butter is pretty unexciting, right? Well we believe peanut butter has reached its most exciting destination yet: Gheezer - Peanut Butter 4.0
A quick journal through history of the four generations of peanut butter.
Peanut Butter 1.0: The OG

Since the 1800s we've had the OG peanut butter. Simply grind roasted peanuts into a paste. This was revolutionary.
The problem?
Oil separation. You know what that's like. You're aggressively stirring the jar, oil is splashing on the counter, and by the time you've eaten half the jar, the bottom is too hard to spread.
Peanut Butter 2.0: Jif and Skippy

Fast forward to the 1930s. Jif and Skippy hit the shelves and the new trend is peanut butter without the oil separation. The convenience comes at a big cost. Heavily processed (hydrogenated) vegetable oils and excessive sugar rightfully give Peanut Butter 2.0 the reputation as being less healthy.
Peanut Butter 3.0: Powdered PB

As health consciousness grows, especially around fat intake, Peanut Butter 3.0 emerges. Think defatted peanut powders like PB2 and PBFit. These products reduced fat (especially Omega-6) by pressing out most of the peanut oil, offering a high-protein, low-fat alternative. The downside is taste. Without any fats, you compromise on texture, flavor, and satiety.
Peanut Butter 4.0: The Evolution You've Been Waiting For

This is where Gheezer steps in. We asked, what if we could take the healthier peanut flour, without inflammatory Omega-6, and add better fats like organic Coconut MCTs and Ghee?
The result is a creamier, richer, and more delicious peanut butter unlike anything else you've tasted. We cracked the code and made the best iteration of peanut butter's 100+ year history.
